On top of this, they provide these findings and information to people with or affected by cancer, as well as the general public.
Cancer Research also realise the importance of influencing the public and government to keep cancer research as a priority in the health agenda. By influencing public policy, Cancer Research can ensure cancer organisations and facilities continue to receive adequate support and attention from the right people.

Cancer research relies entirely on public donations and fundraising drives. Luckily, the charity has the support of millions of people across the UK, who partake in all kinds of activities, from sales to marathons in order to raise money for the charity.
The easiest way to support Cancer Research UK is to make a donation, which can be done simply through a regular direct debit, or a quick online donation. This means you have helped greatly without much difficulty or having to volunteer your time if you are a busy person.

Some people give money to Cancer Research in celebration of an event such as a wedding or birthday. Others donate to commemorate a loved one lost to cancer.
Cancer Research UK also have approximately 600 shops across the country, and now have an online shopping site where you can donate or buy goods, with all proceeds going to this worth cause.
